Selena cares for dogs

Instead of tanning like most celebs do, Selena Gomez ( star of disney channels Wizards of Waverly Place) spent her day with dogs. " I'm so glad to be the new ambassador for DoSomething.org" she writes on her myspace. When she was shooting the Disney Channel orginal movie Princess Protection Program the cast noticed alot of stray dogs. They ended up finding out that Puerto Rico has a 'Dead dog Beach'. According to Selena, it's not as bad as it sounds but i think wrong. On the 'Dead Dog Beach,' people kill dogs for fun,  i say that the 'Dead dog beach' is equal to people killing dogs for fun.
   Now,Selena, her mom Mandy, her step dad Brian, and even some of her costars David Henrie, Jake Austin, and David DeLuise teamed up with DoSomething.org .
   They spent the day feeding puppys, washing them and having fun with them. Then at the end of the day they're going to send them off all around the U.S. to No-kill dog shelters so they can find a nice home.
